Of Birthday Wishes and Feeling Loved...

 

So there was this one time I got a birthday wish from someone...
I felt so loved...
Check it out...
And it was done in the best way it could be done, poetically...

Yes you have trodden the long path,

                                                       Sixteen years of life's cruel wrath,
                                                       It all seems like just the other day,
                                                       When we'd sit and watch you play.

                                                       I guess age is just a number,
                                                      You're now older but not put to slumber,
                                                      One thing my dear I know for sure,
                                                      Yours is a bright future if your mind stays pure.

                                                      Growth comes along with responsibility,
                                                      Maturity, Beauty and Ability,
                                                      Able to achieve what your mind conceives,
                                                      Or follow what excitement deceives.

                                                      Whichever way things go,
                                                       Always know I love you so,
                                                       I won't judge you when you fall,
                                                       But be here through it all.

                                                       At this point I must proudly say,
                                                       To you I wish a happy birthday!
